Our Story

AAA Vending grew from a lifetime of advocacy, family values, and the conviction that food is fuel—and an act of self‑love. As a mother‑daughter team, my mom Kymberly and I set out to transform the snack landscape in Los Angeles, placing purpose‑driven vending machines in parks, schools, and neighborhoods that need better choices.
 

From Social Work to Snack Equity

I’m Amber Crume—a clinical social worker trained at USC’s School of Social Work, with over a decade of on‑the‑ground experience in South Los Angeles. I’ve sat with parents struggling to feed their families, partnered with schools and shelters in food deserts, and volunteered for years at local food banks. No corner store should be the only grocery—and no child should go without energizing, nutritious snacks.
 

A Mother’s Perspective

Raising my own children through summer camps, after‑school leagues, and rec‑center programs, I’ve spent countless afternoons in the bleachers. I saw the same pattern everywhere: hungry kids with only chips, candy, or soda to grab. It wasn’t just inconvenient—it was a barrier to health, focus, and joy.

A Family‑Led, Women‑Owned Mission

Together, Kymberly and I combined our passions—my background in mental health and community advocacy, her decades of leadership—to launch AAA Vending. We built machines stocked with:

• Authentic Ingredients like whole‑grain bars and real‑fruit pouches

• Accessible Nutrition with EBT‑compatible payment systems

• Active Fuel in the form of low‑sugar hydration packs and protein bites

We don’t just install machines; we consult with park directors, school administrators, and coaches to curate products that meet local needs. Our offerings reflect professional athlete standards yet remain family‑friendly and affordable.

AAA Vending honors our family’s commitment to service. Kymberly’s mentorship in community outreach and my clinical expertise create a unique blend of heart and expertise—ensuring every child in LA has the fuel they need to learn, play, and grow.
